SADAKAT UL FITR:
We at Port Elgin IC are not collecting Sadakat ul Fitr this year. However Al-Rashid Islamic Institute is collecting Sadakat ul Fitr.
A list of calculated amount for this can be found by (Clicking Here). The amount differs and should be given based on your personal financial situation and what you can afford.

All Brother interested in attending Eid Jammat are requested to send us an email with your name at PORTELGINMC786@GMAIL.COM and please write “EID JAMMAT” in the subject so we can easily recognize your email and don’t miss anyone. The deadline for Eid jammat registration is End of Day May 8th (Saturday). Also a reminder, we are limited to 10 people per Jammat due to province’s lockdown and therefore we will consider the following when creating the lists for the Jammats:
- 1 adult Brother per household (12 year and older)
- Will be based on First come first serve basis, which might result in getting to full capacity prior to our deadline so please email sooner then later to be considered for the Jammat
Eid Jammats date will be confirmed based on the actual moon sighting and we will update our site when we have that information. Jammats will take place at the Mussallah.
1st EID JAMMAT will be at 7am
2nd EID JAMMAT will be at 7:30 am
We will attempt to arrange more Jammats if needed.
Only those brothers are requested to come to Mussallah that we respond to via email and tell them that they are on the list. Any other Brothers showing up to Mussallah will be turned away at the door.
