Like every year
JAMIA IMDADIA ( PORT ELGIN ISLAMIC CENTRE)
will continue with the sunnah of moon sighting for the month of shawaal before declaration of EID.
FYI: Our Matla is whole north/ south/ east and west coast of America.
Sunset in west coast Vancouver is around 8:15pm pacific daylight time. So for us in case of negative sightings every where else in our matla we have to wait for sunset in Vancouver which will take us at 11:30pm to midnight.
If Eid is on FRIDAY
- We will pray Eid salat at PLEX at 8:00am English Bayan commence and by InshaAllah 8:45am Salat and Arabic khuttbah will be finished.
- And jummah will be at musllah @ 1:30pm Arabic khubbah will start.
If Eid is on SATURDAY
- We will pray Eid salat at port Elgin Curling Club at 8:00am English Bayan commence and by InshaAllah 8:45am Salat and Arabic khuttbah will be finished.
- And jummah will be at musllah @ 4:30pm Arabic khubbah will start.
