The Port Elgin Islamic Centre orgnized yet another public community-wide iftar on 17th April 2023 at The Plex in Port Elgin, Ontario.

Community members and members of the public at large kicked off the event with a  buffet-styled dinner at sundown (the time when Muslims break their fast). The menu included variety of options, including rice, various curries and soft drinks. Pizza lovers had something to get excited about as well.

The evening ended with special congregational prayers that focused on spiritual uplifting, safety of the community and peace for everyone in our community, country and the world at large.
